Presidential engagement highlights Presight’s expanding role in Kazakhstan’s national AI ambitions, as Chairman H.E. Mansoor Al Mansoori receives the Order of Dostyk, Second Degree

Astana, Kazakhstan – 08 October 2026: Kazakhstan and Presight, a global leader in applied AI for intelligent systems, strengthened their longstanding partnership following a series of high-level engagements focused on advancing national AI capability and deploying intelligent systems across critical sectors.

His Excellency Mansoor Al Mansoori, Chairman of Presight, met with His Excellency Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as part of a senior UAE delegation that included His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure. The discussions reflected the depth of the Kazakhstan-UAE strategic relationship, spanning artificial intelligence, digitalisation, transport and logistics, while highlighting Presight’s expanding role in advancing Kazakhstan’s national AI ambitions and deploying intelligent systems across critical national infrastructure.

In recognition of his contribution to strengthening relations between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, President Tokayev awarded H.E. Mansoor Al Mansoori the Order of Dostyk, Second Degree, one of Kazakhstan’s highest state honours.

H.E. Mansoor Al Mansoori also addressed the Kazakhstan Council for Artificial Intelligence Development, where he spoke about the transition from AI ambition to practical industrial capability. He highlighted Kazakhstan’s priorities across mining and metallurgy, energy, agriculture and logistics, and the importance of applying AI to improve productivity, reduce costs and strengthen management efficiency.

Addressing the importance of building national capability through partnership, H.E. Mansoor Al Mansoori said: “Together, we are establishing the building blocks of national capability. And this is where sovereignty becomes practical. No country can build every part of AI alone. All of us will work with partners.”

His remarks also emphasised that sovereignty means maintaining the ability to determine how national data is used, developing the expertise to assess the systems a country relies on, and retaining the freedom to change course as requirements evolve.

The engagement also included visits to key Presight initiatives in Kazakhstan. During the Presidential walkthrough, Thomas Pramotedham, Chief Executive Officer of Presight, joined the presentation of the Kazakhstan National Highways Analytics Program, a new project developed by Presight. H.E. Mansoor Al Mansoori and H.E. Suhail Al Mazrouei also visited the Smart Astana City Urban Management Command and Control Centre, where he received a demonstration of applied intelligence operating within an urban environment.

The visits build on several years of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Presight. The company’s work in the country includes Central Asia’s first supercomputer, smart city systems in Astana, and an AI research and development laboratory at Alem.AI. More recently, Presight signed a Term Sheet with Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport to explore the development of a

national operational intelligence platform for transport, extending the relationship into another critical national system.

The engagements took place on the sidelines of AI & Digital Bridge 2026 in Astana. During the event, Thomas Pramotedham participated in the “Capital for the AI Era” panel, contributing to discussions on the role of capital, technology and public-private collaboration in supporting the growth of the AI economy.

Presight also showcased its intelligent systems at the event, demonstrating the application of intelligence across complex national and enterprise environments.
