In the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Presight, a global leader in big data analytics powered by AI, marking a major step toward developing the National Statistical Data Platform and strengthening the UAE’s technical and analytical data capabilities.

His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi said that “the partnership is rooted in the UAE’s comprehensive proactive approach and the leadership’s vision to design the future, by continuously harnessing advanced technologies and AI to unlock opportunities, keep pace with rapid transformations, and proactively address emerging challenges”.

He added: “The strategic partnership will play a pivotal role in unifying official national statistics, accelerating the shift toward smart statistics and data-driven decision-making, and advancing the integration of the national data ecosystem. The initiative will establish a unified national environment for official statistics, ensure the seamless linkage of economic and social data sources, and empower government entities and decision-makers with accurate, up-to-date, and real-time insights that support strategic planning, public policy formulation, and further strengthen the UAE’s global competitiveness.”
